QuoteIt
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2 September 2026
Welcome to QuoteIt.
QuoteIt is a platform where people can write about what life makes them feel, think, experience, and learn. Users may keep their thoughts private, save them as drafts, or share them publicly with others.
This Privacy Policy explains what information QuoteIt collects, how we use it, how public and anonymous posts work, and the choices available to you.

2. Public Posts
When you choose Public visibility, your post may be visible to anyone who visits QuoteIt.
Public content may include your post, selected emotion, selected topic, attached image, username, display name, and public profile information.
Public posts may also be accessible through direct links, shared outside QuoteIt, or indexed by search engines.
Avoid including sensitive personal information in content that you choose to make public.
3. Anonymous Posts
QuoteIt allows users to publish certain public posts anonymously.
When a post is published anonymously, other users see it as being shared by Anonymous rather than seeing the creator's username, display name, or public profile.
Anonymous posting does not mean that the post is technically disconnected from the account that created it.
QuoteIt keeps an internal association between an anonymous post and its creator for purposes such as:
- Allowing users to manage their own posts
- Preventing abuse
- Handling reports
- Enforcing Community Guidelines
- Investigating security incidents
- Complying with applicable legal obligations
QuoteIt will not intentionally reveal the identity behind an anonymous post to ordinary users.
4. Private Posts and Drafts
Posts marked Private or Draft are intended to be visible only to you through your QuoteIt account.
They are not intentionally displayed on public feeds or public profiles.
Authorized technical access may occur when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, or investigation of serious misuse.
5. Information About Your Activity
QuoteIt may process information about how you interact with the platform, including:
- Posts you react to

- Account and session activity
- Technical information used for security and abuse prevention
This information may be used to operate features such as the For You feed.
6. Trending Content
QuoteIt may use aggregated engagement information to determine which public posts are trending.
Signals may include Felt This reactions, comments, saves, and how recently a post was published.
