Welcome to QuoteIt.
QuoteIt is a platform for sharing thoughts, feelings, reflections, experiences, and lessons from life.
By creating an account or using QuoteIt, you agree to these Terms of Service.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use QuoteIt.
1. About QuoteIt
QuoteIt allows users to:
- Create personal thoughts and reflections
- Save posts as drafts
- Keep posts private
- Publish posts publicly
- Share eligible public posts anonymously
- Add emotions and topics to posts
- React using Felt This
- Save public posts
- Comment and reply
- Search and discover public content
- Report content that may violate platform rules
QuoteIt may add, change, remove, or improve features over time.
2. Eligibility
You may use QuoteIt only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
If you are under the age at which you can legally consent to use an online service, you may use QuoteIt only with appropriate involvement or permission from a parent or legal guardian where required.
3. Creating an Account
Some QuoteIt features require an account.
You are responsible for:
- Protecting your password
- Maintaining control of your account
- Activities performed through your account
- Notifying QuoteIt if you believe your account has been compromised
You must not impersonate another person or create misleading accounts for abusive or fraudulent purposes.
4. Usernames and Profiles
QuoteIt may allow you to choose usernames, display names, biographies, and other profile information.
You must not use profile information that:
- Impersonates another person
- Violates another person's rights
- Is intended to deceive users
- Contains unlawful or seriously abusive material
- Suggests official affiliation with QuoteIt when none exists
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the original content you create and post on QuoteIt.
By submitting content, you give QuoteIt a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as necessary to operate, maintain, secure, promote, and improve the service.
For public content, this includes displaying your content in feeds, search, discovery, previews, and sharing features.
6. Public Content
When you publish a post as Public, it may be visible to anyone who accesses QuoteIt.
Public content may be shared by others, accessed through direct links, indexed by search engines, copied, or captured outside QuoteIt.
Do not include information in public posts that you do not want others to see.
7. Private Posts
Posts marked Private are intended to be visible only through your account.
Authorized access may occur where reasonably necessary for security, serious abuse investigations, technical maintenance, legal compliance, or protection of users.
8. Draft Posts
Drafts are incomplete or unpublished posts stored within your account.
They are not intended to be publicly visible unless you later change their visibility and publish them.
9. Anonymous Posting
QuoteIt may allow certain public posts to be displayed anonymously.
Anonymous posts remain internally associated with the account that created them.
QuoteIt may use that association to:
- Allow users to manage their own content
- Prevent abuse
- Investigate reports
- Enforce these Terms
- Enforce Community Guidelines
- Respond to valid legal requirements
- Protect users or the platform from harm
Anonymous posting must not be used to harass, threaten, defame, impersonate, exploit, or intentionally harm others.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use QuoteIt to:
- Break applicable laws
- Threaten or encourage serious harm
- Harass or repeatedly target individuals
- Impersonate others
- Commit fraud
- Distribute malware or malicious code
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
- Manipulate platform security mechanisms
- Abuse rate limits
- Circumvent account restrictions
- Create automated spam
- Artificially manipulate engagement
- Collect user information through unauthorized scraping
- Publish content that unlawfully violates another person's rights
11. Content About Other People
You are responsible for the content you publish about other people.
You should not publish private or sensitive information about another person without an appropriate reason or authorization.
12. Intellectual Property Rights of Others
You must only upload or publish content that you have the right to use.
You must not knowingly infringe another person's copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
13. Reactions, Saves, Comments, and Replies
QuoteIt may allow users to interact with public posts through Felt This reactions, saves, comments, and replies.
These interactions are subject to the same Terms and Community Guidelines as posts.
14. Personalized Content
QuoteIt may rank content in the For You feed using signals such as the emotions and topics associated with posts you write, save, react to, or comment on.
QuoteIt does not guarantee that personalized recommendations will always be accurate, suitable, or interesting.
15. Trending Content
QuoteIt may rank public posts using engagement and recency signals such as Felt This reactions, comments, saves, and time since publication.
Trending placement does not mean QuoteIt endorses or agrees with the content.
16. Reports
Users may report content they believe violates QuoteIt's rules.
Reports should be submitted honestly. False or abusive reporting intended to target another user may itself violate these Terms.
17. Moderation
QuoteIt may moderate content and accounts to protect the platform and its users.
Actions may include:
- Taking no action
- Removing content
- Restricting content visibility
- Warning a user
- Suspending an account
- Banning an account
- Restricting certain features
- Preserving information relating to serious abuse or security investigations
18. Account Suspension and Bans
QuoteIt may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
Users who are suspended or banned must not attempt to evade restrictions through additional accounts.
19. Removing Your Content
QuoteIt may allow you to edit or delete certain content you created.
Copies may temporarily remain in backups, logs, caches, search engine caches, or copies created outside QuoteIt.
20. Account Deletion
QuoteIt may provide account deletion directly through the platform or through a support request.
Certain records may be retained where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
21. Service Availability
QuoteIt aims to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
The platform may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, infrastructure failures, security incidents, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuoteIt and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of the platform where such liability may lawfully be limited.
28. Indemnity
Where permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, or expenses arising directly from your unlawful use of QuoteIt, serious violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

QuoteIt is an evolving platform. Features, ranking systems, interfaces, limits, and functionality may change over time.

31. Termination
You may stop using QuoteIt at any time.
QuoteIt may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated rule violations, fraud, security risks, illegal activity, abuse, or attempts to evade previous enforcement.
